Spreadsheet Templates¶
Practical Excel templates for DPC financial planning, tracking, and analysis. All templates include formulas and are ready to customize.

Financial Planning (P1)¶

Usage Notes¶
- Yellow cells = Enter your values (inputs)
- Green cells = Calculated automatically (formulas)
- Blue cells = Key results
All templates work in: - Microsoft Excel - Google Sheets (import as .xlsx) - LibreOffice Calc - Apple Numbers
Bootstrap Philosophy¶
These templates support the "stethoscope and smartphone" approach:
- template-startup-budget.xlsx shows you can start for under $5,000
- template-break-even-analysis.xlsx helps calculate your minimum viable panel
- Focus on what you actually need, not what vendors want to sell you
Quick Start¶
- Download the template you need
- Open in your preferred spreadsheet application
- Enter your values in yellow cells
- Review calculated results in green/blue cells
- Adjust assumptions and compare scenarios
Customization¶
Feel free to: - Add rows for your specific expenses/items - Modify formulas as needed - Create additional tabs for scenarios - Delete sections that don't apply
